NSW Department of Communities and Justice / LAHC - Upcoming Expression of Interest for the New Maintenance Contract from Land and Housing Corporation (Formally Housing NSW (FACS)) - LHC6/2013

This is a notification only regarding the Land and Housing Corporation’s (LAHC) upcoming Expression of Interest (EOI) for the delivery of maintenance services to the NSW Government Social Housing Portfolio.

NSW Regions: Far North Coast, Mid North Coast, New England, Central Coast, Hunter, Cumberland/Prospect, Nepean, Northern Sydney, Inner West, South East Sydney, South West Sydney, Central West, Orana/Far West, Riverina/Murray, Illawarra, Southern Highlands

Further to the Industry Briefing held by the Land and Housing Corporation (LAHC) in March 2013, LAHC announces that it will be going out to market with an Expression of Interest (EOI) around the 21^st of May 2013, to obtain responses from interested asset maintenance service providers to maintain its social housing portfolio across New South Wales (NSW).

 

The portfolio currently consists of over 110,000 properties and includes detached houses, townhouses, villas, apartments and pensioner units and range from single storey to multi-storey buildings. 

 

The properties within the portfolio are divided geographically into three (3) Regions across NSW.  Across these Regions, there are eighteen (18) Contract Areas.  The Asset Maintenance Budgets (as of 2013) for these Contract Areas range from approximately $3.5 million per annum to $32.5 million per annum.  Organisations will be able to nominate their preference in one (1) or multiple Contract Areas at EOI stage.

 

Some of the criteria that organisations will be evaluated on at EOI stage include:

·              Financial Capacity

·              Work Health and Safety Management

·              Quality Management

·              Experience

·              Methodology

 

The Expression of Interest is expected to open at 9am Tuesday the 21^st of May 2013 and be open for a four (4) week period.
