Tender Details

The Panel will consist of legal practitioners admitted to practise in NSW, being either barristers or solicitors who hold an unrestricted practising certificate, and who can demostrate experience in appearing before investigative bodies. 

Panel members will enter into a contract to provide services, at published rates of remuneration determined by the Secretary, Department of Justice.

Panel members must be able to represent clients at short notice, personally provide the service, and be available for the duration of the hearing phase of an Inquiry.

NSW Regions: Far North Coast, Mid North Coast, New England, Central Coast, Hunter, Cumberland/Prospect, Nepean, Northern Sydney, Inner West, South East Sydney, South West Sydney, Central West, Orana/Far West, Riverina/Murray, Illawarra, Southern Highlands

Open Tenders - An invitation to tender by public advertisement with no restriction placed on who may tender. Tenderers will normally be required to demonstrate in their tender that they have the necessary skills, resources, experience, financial capacity, and in some cases licences, accreditations, etc., to fulfil the tender requirements.

Additional Details / Instructions

This is an invitation to tender subject to the mandatory requirements as follows:

Admission to practise as a barrister in the State of NSW. Provide a copy of current relevant certification; or

Admission to practise as a solicitor holding an unrestricted practising certificate in the State of NSW. Provide a copy of current relevant certification; and 

Holding professional indemnity insurance to a minimum value of $1,500,000, provide a copy of the insurance.

Willingness to accept the rates specified within the RFT.
