Tender Details
The NSW Housing Major Projects Directorate seeks Tenders from suitably qualified Tenderers to provide Quantity Surveying Consultancy Services for the Redfern Housing Redevelopment East Site.
The Tenderer will be required to provide Quantity Surveying services which:
* are of a high professional standard and in accordance with the contract;
* communicates financial milestones in which the design consultants can work to;
* enable an innovative and cost effective delivery of the project;
* are achievable within the budget and time constraints set out in this RFT;
* achieve a best practice approach to buildability; and
* accord with the project expectations with respect to ESD
Description of the Services
The Tenderer will be responsible for the providing all Quantity Surveying and Cost Planning services required over the life of the whole Project including but limited to:
* Reviewing the Concept Cost Plan prepared by Davis Langdon and preparing a preliminary Cost Plan for the Project;
* Updating the Cost Plan through out the Design Phase to incorporate amendments as the design develops;
* Participating in the value management of the Project and provide relevant cost information to ensure that the optimum economical solution is established;
*Liaising and co-ordinating with the Principal Architect and Project Manager to allow the provision of budget review estimates as the design develops and provide advice as to ways of maintaining the cost plan;
* Preparing a Pre-Tender Estimate of the Construction Costs for review by the Client and Project Manager;
* Preparing a General Estimate of Quantities which will be included as a reference for Tenderers in the Tender Package;
* Allowing for the measurement, valuation, negotiation and preparation of statements of the cost of variations to the contract, including estimating the cost of variation claims; and
* Certifying payment claims put forward by the builder.
