Tender Details
Victims Services requires a contractor who will develop a contemporary, informative and culturally appropriate DVD in plain English. The DVD will be made available to victims or witnesses (and their supporters) of personal violence offences in NSW.
The DVD will be designed for young people aged from 12 years to adults going to court as victims or witnesses of personal violence offences (with a particular emphasis on victims of sexual assault) in NSW.
The purpose of the DVD is to provide an engaging, non-threatening and accessible resource to assist victims and witnesses in preparing to go to court.
The DVD will aim to demystify the court experience, by giving information about the roles of court personnel and processes, the provisions which support victims of crime, Victims Rights and provide information about Victims Services.
The resource needs to be inclusive and culturally sensitive to all members of the community, including the Aboriginal and Torres Strait and culturally and linguistically diverse communities. In addition, issues for people living with a disability, as well as the gay and lesbian community will also need to be addressed
