The Department of Family and Community Services (FACS) is leading the design of a community based service model for the Premier’s Youth Initiative for young people leaving OOHC and undertaking a procurement process to identify suitable non-government providers to run the service. FACS is seeking applications from organisations able to undertake projects in youth homelessness prevention targeting Out of Home Care (OOHC) leavers who are likely to be homeless or at risk upon exit from care in targeted locations.
