The Department of Family and Community Services (FACS) is seeking a provider to facilitate the delivery of Employee Assistance Program (EAP) services to approximately 16,000 staff across NSW.

The purpose of an Employee Assistance Program (EAP) is to provide professional counselling services for staff and their immediate families, for problems of a personal nature (including relationship/marriage problems) that may interfere with their ability to maintain normal work patterns and/or work performance. Assistance will also be provided to staff that may have been exposed to serious incidents in the workplace. The EAP provides both professional counselling and support services to help maintain a healthy lifestyle and resolve problems in a comfortable, neutral and confidential manner.
