NSW Department of Communities and Justice / Expression of Interest on Supply of Timber Products - DCJ2022004

CSI requires a wide range of Timber Products for the manufacture and refurbishment of furniture, i.e., bed bases, pallets, apple bins and sub floors. CSI is seeking EOI on the following products: The respondents have an option to express interest in any of the following products at any volume they can supply.

 

1.Radiata Pine, Merch Grade, Dressed All Round 70mm x 21mm 

2.Green off Saw Radiata Pine - 100mm x 25mmx 4800mm

3.Green off Saw Radiata Pine - 100mm x 50mm x 4800mm

4.Kiln Dried Radiata - 150mm x 25mm x 4800mm

5.Kiln Dried Radiata - 200mm x 25mm x 4800mm

6.Rough Sawn Kiln - 75mm x 25mm

7.Rough Sawn Kiln - 150mm x 25mm

8.Treated Pine H3 MGP10 - 140mm x 35mm

9.Treated Pine H3 MGP10 - 90mm x 35mm

10.Treated Pine H3 MGP10 - 190mm x 35mm

 

The monthly volume required on the following type of timber products as follows:

1.Radiata Pine - 160,0000 Lineal Meter (LM)

2.Green off Saw Radiata Pine – 4,000LM

3.Kiln Dried Radiata – 2,600LM

4.Rough Sawn Kiln – 80,000LM 

5.Treated Pine H3 MGP10 – 4,000LM

 

The manufacturing and refurbishment processes are undertaken at the following locations:

 

•Mid North Coast Correctional Centre (manufacture of bed bases)

•South Coast Correctional Centre (manufacture of bed bases)

•Mannus Correctional Centre (manufacture of pallets and sub floors)

•Goulburn Correctional Centre (manufacture of Modular Wall systems)

 

Suppliers must possess the capability to supply the timber products to the above locations.

Expression of Interest for Specific Contracts - An invitation for Expression of Interest (EOI) for pre-registration of prospective tenderers for a specific work or service. Applicants are initially evaluated against published selection criteria, and those who best meet the required criteria are invited to Tender (as tender type Pre-Qualified/Invited).
