NSW Department of Communities and Justice / Panel for the Supply of Recording, Monitoring & Transcription Services - AGD 2010/24

The Reporting Services Branch (RSB) of the NSW Department of Justice and Attorney General is seeking to establish a panel of contractors for the provision of recording, monitoring and transcription services for various Courts and Tribunals across NSW. 

RSB is the primary provider of recording and transcription services to the Courts and Tribunals of NSW. RSB records all formal court proceedings, both criminal and civil, in all major jurisdictions. RSB transcribes all formal proceedings for all jurisdictions. Agreements established under this request for tender will be structured to provide sufficient capacity to augment the service delivery of RSB across NSW.

The services as required consist of: -

Record Only – the recording and monitoring of proceedings in a courtroom, including the creation of a detailed annotation file.

Recording and Transcription – the recording and monitoring of proceedings and supply of transcription, extracts, and decisions.

Transcript Only – supply of transcription, extracts and decisions, as requested.

Remote Monitoring  - the recording of proceedings via a multi-channel audio with visual assist of multiple and simultaneous court hearings in a different or remote location where the data is recorded..

Realtime - the continual online production and distribution of transcript throughout the day as the hearing proceeds.
