Tender Details
The Department is looking to outsource a series of integration services to a suitable supplier (or suppliers) with a view to providing increased service reliability, cost-effectiveness, and efficiency. The services required are based on our MuleSoft integration platform where The Department is looking to outsource overall development and ongoing support.
The Department’s MuleSoft integration platform was implemented in 2020 and since then has been used for a series of internal and external integration developments. The Department is looking to further strengthen and consolidate this service such that it is in a position to cater to the integration development requirements within the department from both a development and support perspective.
The MuleSoft-based EIP has been set up for both on-premise and cloud capabilities. It utilizes IBM WebSphere MQ for on-premise persistent messaging queue capability.
This RFT is being conducted to evaluate and select suppliers to provide any of the following services:
Service 1: Design and Development Services – design and development of APIs as requested by The Department
Service 2: Integration Component Support – ongoing support of these APIs
Service 3: Platform Support – on-demand support of the platform itself.
The Department’s preference is to appoint one Supplier to provide the Services. However, at its discretion, it may:
• appoint different suppliers across different services;
• consider joint responses or responses from a consortium of Suppliers, subject to the provisions of the Conditions of tendering;
• appoint up to 2 suppliers for the Design and Development Services
The Proposed Contract Term is for 1 year with 3 one-year extensions (1+1+1+1).
The upcoming tender opportunity can only be accessed and responded to via the Department’s end-to-end procurement system, Procurement Central. Any submission lodged outside of Procurement Central will not be considered by the Department.
