The Community Housing Innovation Fund (CHIF) - Stimulus is a $50m over 2-years fund (2021/22 to 2022/23 period) that aims to increase the supply of social housing supply by working in partnership with the community housing sector. The CHIF uses a co-contribution model where DCJ puts in upfront funding and CHPs contribute equity, debt, land, tax concessions, philanthropy, etc. to deliver new housing supply projects.
