NSW Department of Communities and Justice / EXPRESSION OF INTEREST - SALE OF VACANT LAND FOR THE CONSTRUCTION OF AFFORDABLE HOUSING - RES506

Housing NSW is inviting expressions of interest from eligible not-for-profit organisations capable of constructing affordable houses who are interested in participating in the sale of discounted vacant Housing NSW land.

As a result of the expressions of interest, Housing NSW will short list qualified organisations and invite them to submit proposals for the purchase of land. The successful organisations will be expected to build and make houses available at discounted prices to promote home ownership to low-income households.

There is no guarantee that the land will be made available to every organisation on the qualified list. The land will be disposed of only if it is vacant and surplus to Housing NSW’s needs.

Applicants are encouraged to attend an information session about this imitative on Monday 22 March 2010 from 12 noon to 1.00 pm. Please RSVP Anurag Thukral at anurag.thukral@housing.nsw.gov.au if you are attending the information session.

Expression of Interest For Pre-Qualification - An invitation for Expression of Interest (EOI) for pre-registration of prospective tenderers for a type of work or service. Applicants are initially evaluated against published selection criteria. RFT may then be invited from a panel of providers (as Selective, or Invited).
