The NSW Government is evaluating alternative service delivery mechanisms for ServiceFirst, as part of a wider NSW Government reform of shared service delivery for NSW Government agencies.
In the case of ServiceFirst, these mechanisms involve the outsourcing of Service Bundles (which are likely to be one to three, or possibly four, sets of aggregated services) to one or more principal / lead suppliers.
Through this mechanism, the NSW Government is looking to establish powerful new strategic relationships with providers of shared services.
The NSW Government is seeking shared services suppliers in order to adopt a new commercial approach and focus to provide ongoing operational excellence.
The NSW Government also expects gains to be achieved through increased sophistication in the way ServiceFirst clients demand and consume services, through change management processes initiated by suppliers.
The NSW Government is now calling for registrations of interest from appropriately experienced and capable parties to outsource service delivery of a range of services provided by ServiceFirst, based on their ability to provide the services set out in Service Bundles (whether in their own capacity or as part of a consortia to be formed in Phase 2).

Electronic Tender Box Security
During the lodgement process all submitted responses received successfully are encrypted by the system for security and stored securely in the web site “electronic tender box”.
To maintain probity, all responses that are received can only be accessed, un-encrypted and opened after the RFT has officially closed.
This is done though a controlled Tender Opening process managed by the Agency’s Tender Opening Committee.
Confirmation & Receipt of RFT response
A detailed system generated electronic receipt is issued for all responses received successfully.
