Tender Details

SIRA’s Insurers Guarantee Fund (IGF) currently has records stored within a repository presently administered
by a singular third-party organisation, Employers Mutual Limited (EML). Information within the repository is
only accessible by instigation of a search of the archive, which is a manually driven process, is inefficient and
at cost to the fund.
In addition, the IGF has a risk that should the information within the repository, be lost, destroyed, or subject to
natural degradation due to the age of the artifact, a claim made against the fund will result in liability being
accepted by the fund by default due to insufficient information to support a decision to decline the claim.
The Insurance Guarantee Fund (IGF) Digitisation Project is seeking to digitise and electronically archive
existing artifacts within IGF enabling SIRA to ensure documentation remains in current state and not subject
to any further degradation allowing due process when a worker makes a claim on the fund. Furthermore, the
future searching of artifacts in an electronic archive solution can be performed in a timely, cost-effective
manner when compared with the existing manual process currently undertaken.
