Tender Details
Bundanoon WTP, constructed in 1987, is situated approximately 12 km south of Moss Vale and receives water from the Bundanoon Creek Dam.
The water then flows into a clarifier provided with a dissolved air flotation (DAF) system for separation of the flocculated impurities (floc) from the water.
Filtered water flows into the clear water tank where it is dosed with lime and carbon dioxide for buffering and chlorine for disinfection. Water from the clear water tank is pumped to Werai balance tank and from there pumped to other town storage reservoirs. Two sludge lagoons were constructed to collect the floated sludge, the backwash wastewater, and all other drains from the plant.
The works required shall include the design, manufacture, supply, delivery to site, installation, testing, demonstration, setting into operation and commissioning of, but not necessarily limited to:
Raw water flow metering and control equipment;
Filter inlet weir plates modification;
Lime dosing and acid flushing systems;
Lime room refurbishment;
Pre-dosing lime and carbon dioxide dosing points relocation;
Alum bund and dosing system;
Chemical delivery area modifications;
Sludge lagoon supernatant recycle system;
Filtered water turbidity monitoring equipment (Mandatory Alternative Tender);
Chlorine gas leak detecting system;
Fluoride on-line monitoring equipment (Mandatory Alternative Tender);
Powder activated carbon (PAC) dosing plant (Mandatory Alternative Tender).
Allow future incorporation of a SCADA system at the WTP.
Mandatory Meeting
A Mandatory pre-tender site meeting / Inspection will be held on 26 April, 2007 at 11.00 AM.
at Wingecarribee Shire Council, Civic Centre ,Elizabeth St, Moss Vale, NSW.
Only those companies that attend the meeting will be eligible to submit a tender.
NON attendance will make responses invalid from non-attending companies.
