The works for the Department of Housing, include but are not limited to the following:

Installation of fire doors: 2 fire door sets will be installed to each tenanted floor of the buildings. Each door set will consist of double leaf fire doors with intumescant dampers, door frames, closing mechanisms, magnatronics and raven seals.

Building work: All building work to complement the fire doors including fire walls, works to ceiling panels and the carpet and painting.

Fire services: relocating existing and installing new smoke detectors, modifications to existing and installing new sprinklers, fire rating service penetrations, connecting services to existing fire indicator panel, modifying and adding emergency lights, chasing in walls and floors for services as required and subsequent restoration.

Provision of fire safety evacuation plans/signage to all lift lobbies.

Provision of new signage to all new fire doors.

Provision of non-slip finish to landings in the existing fire-isolated stairways. Clean and prepare landings and add 2 coat polyurethane anti slip coating. Colour to match existing landing.

Provision of non-skid strips to all stair treads throughout the existing fire-isolated stairways (extruded aluminium type). Provide 50 wide strip to the landing, 25 mm strip on each rising with 48 mm gap from each end.

Provision of all certification related to the fire services and building work.
