Tender Details
The Botanic Gardens Trust (BGT), administered under the Royal Botanic Gardens and Domain Trust) Act (1980) is responsible for all the property within the boundaries of the Domain and Royal Botanic Gardens.
The Domain Car Park is located on the eastern fringe of the Sydney CBD to the west of Woolloomooloo. The Domain Car Park is located at the southern end of the Domain and is bordered by Sir John Young Crescent and St Marys Road.
At present, the Domain Car Park is leased until 30 April 2008. It is the intention of the BGT to negotiate lease terms with a Successful Proponent, in order to create a new lease to start from 1st May 2008. Furthermore, the BGT requires the Successful Proponent to enter into a Development Agreement to undertake agreed enhancements to the Domain Car Park and surrounds.
The BGT is aware of the possibility that there is scope for further development and commercial opportunities and will consider any proposals throughout the Call for Detailed Proposal stage. An invitation is extended to Proponents to submit a response to this Call for Expressions of Interest that demonstrates their capacity to carry out the Project as described in this Call for Expressions of Interest. The Project for which Proponents are invited to submit a response has essential components and other optional components.
Following evaluation of the Expressions of Interest, it is anticipated that a short-list of Proponents will be invited to submit a Detailed Proposal for the Project including the essential components and optional components as described above.
The format of the Call for Detailed Proposals will be dependent on the extent of interest shown in the Expressions of Interest for each of the Project components, and the Government reserves the right to amend the lists of essential and optional components in the Call for Detailed Proposals.
Proponents must complete and return the Tenderer Identification Details, Proponents Acknowledgement , the Registration Form and provide four schedules related to their Capability, Organisational Structure, Financial Capacity and their Proposals.
