Tender Details

The Department of Water and Energy invites qualified and licensed drillers to submit a tender to drill and construct approximately 30 monitoring bores in the Hunter Valley. Groundwater monitoring piezometers are to be drilled and installed in the unconsolidated sediments (alluvium) and in fractured sedimentary and volcanic rocks to allow the collection of groundwater yield and quality. The work involves drilling, installation and development of piezometers to an approximate average depth of 12 meters in the alluvium and an average depth of 60 metres in fractured rocks to a maximum depth of 150 metres.
