Demolition Work:
Demolish and remove from site the following items as necessary to achieve the final layout as shown on Drawing number 03. They are not limited to the following;
Existing shed, the concrete floor slab on ground and all other elements necessary.
Existing carport/shelter including associated posts, footings, roofing, guttering and all other elements necessary.
Weldmesh fence panels, posts and footings. Remove and reinstall part of pool type fencing as per Drawing number 03. Part of pool type fencing to remain. AC unit to be relocated (Height only) Remove sections of concrete foot paths as shown on drawing number 02. Disconnect and terminate and cap-off all services not retained or made redundant. Relocation/ diverting existing services that will be disturbed by the proposed works. Removal of two trees as shown on plans.
Note: Noisy demolition activities such as jack hammering, compressor work scrabbling or grit blasting are to be limited to after hours/weekends limiting to stipulated working hours in the tender document.
New Work:
1 Supply & install a new colorbond fully enclosed shed colour, profile & design to match existing shed. The shed to be 3.6m x 3.6m. Supply and install a heavy duty roller shutter to the full extent of the entry allowing for necessary fixing any framing.
Provide power to the shed. Supply and install two (2) double GPOs.
Supply and install two (2) single fluorescent light fittings.
Supply and install all roof plumbing as required to service new shed. Connect new storm water lines to the existing storm water system.
Provide a ramp and kerbs as shown on structural drawings.
Provide grass swale to direct stormwater.
2 Construct a heavy duty covered/carport in the location as indicated on drawings (approx size 7.2m x 20.0m) The carport is to be constructed to allow a bus approximately 2.5m x 7.0m in size. Vehicle model is 'Toyota Coaster'. Floor to be an asphaltic concrete finish (continuation of driveway).
The roof is to have translucent roof sheeting every (4 th) fourth roof sheet.
Provision of 3 bollards as shown on drawings.
Install four (4) vandlux light fixtures under the awning ensuring height restrictions are adhered to with reference to the height of the bus.
3 Design & construct a light duty service road-driveway, turning circle and parking area to the extent shown on Drawings.
4. Allow space for a new garden bed as shown on Drawing number 03, with perimeter concrete kerb.
5. Supply and install all necessary stormwater drainage and connected to the existing services.
8. New line marking and signage (if necessary) to clearly identify vehicle flow and traffic management. Consult with the School Principal and bus fleet coordinator, regarding the type and location of signage.
Tenders are invited from those companies pre registered in Sydney Basin for Building Works between the amounts of $100,001 and $250,000
