The NSW Fire Brigades (NSWFB) is committed to improve public safety. As part of achieving this aim, the NSWFB is systematically modernising our Fire Stations to allow staff to operate effectively.
The Existing Cabramatta Fire Station is located at 258 Cabramatta Road West is no longer capable of satisfying the operational requirements of a modern Fire Station. It is also poorly situated in terms of the operational are in which that Station is meant to serve.
The purpose of the project is to provide a new single storey Fire Station at Cabramatta located at the Corner of Cumberland Highway, St Johns Road and Joseph St Cabramatta. The proposed fire station will have the capacity to expand to accommodate an additional double appliance bay for a heavy hazmat vehicle in the future.
