Tender Details

The purpose of this work is to conduct an audit of management systems at facilities nationwide belonging to the Department of Immigration and Citizenship (DIAC), namely Immigration Detention Centres (IDC), Immigration Residential Housing (IRH), Immigration Transit Accommodation (ITA), and Alternative Places of Detention (APOD).

The Department of Immigration and Citizenship seeks an audit process establishing the adequacy of implementation of their Service Provider’s Management Plans to ensure an effective methodology for the nominated management plans:

· Maintenance Management Plan (including Centre Security, Emergency Services and Cleaning)

· Emergency Response Plan

· Occupational Health & Safety Management

· Quality Assurance Management Plan

· Environmental Management System

· Hazard Analysis & Critical Control Point (HACCP) Plan 

The project will be separated into three packages:

A. Review of Emergency Management and Response Plans and Maintenance Management (incl. Centre Security and Emergency Systems);

B. Review of OH&S, Quality Assurance Management Plan, Environmental Management Systems, Management of Assets, Maintenance of Assets, and Cleaning Services; and

c. Review of Catering Services (incl. HACCP Plan, Health Regulations, and Service Standards).

All responses that are received can only be accessed, un-encrypted and opened after the RFT has officially closed.
This is done though a controlled Tender Opening process managed by the Agency’s Tender Opening Committee.
