Tender Details
The new Panel will aim to establish a contemporary, innovative, and improved whole-of-government panel that:
• is fit for purpose and meets the Customer’s needs
• achieves good value for money and minimises off-contract spend leakage (i.e., spend outside the panel)
• facilitates improved contract management that benefits both Government and suppliers over the term of the Panel
• establishes the foundation for open dialogue between NSW Government and its suppliers to explore opportunities for innovation, supporting evolving Customer needs, and continuous improvement
• facilitates orientation with future NSW Government strategy, policy, and initiatives and
• offers increased transparency on spend and consumption.
The new Panel will be a mandated whole-of-government contract and will supersede the current C2390 Imaging contract. NSW Government Agencies will be required to purchase through it when seeking to procure items which fall within the Panel scope, unless an exemption is approved.
This panel will be available for use by all NSW Government Agencies and non-Government customers, that may include other State and Federal Government entities, not-for-profit organisations, schools, charities, and municipal councils amongst others. The geographic scope of this panel requires that goods and services can be provided across the state of New South Wales, including metro, regional and remote regional NSW.
The Panel scope has been packaged in to three lots:
• Lot 1: Hardware, Essential Services & Extended Warranty: Devices available for direct purchase or lease, and the related services which are necessary to take delivery of and utilise the products. Hardware includes multi-function devices, printers, scanners and consumables. Essential Services include logistics, basic warranty and essential software. Extended Warranty refers to additional warranty options Suppliers may like to offer.
• Lot 2: Additional Services: optional services which may be provided to the Customer to deploy, support and manage the Customer’s device fleet and enhance the print and imaging capabilities. These include extended support services, implementation services, end-of-lifecycle services and other value add services and solutions.
• Lot 3: Managed Print Service (MPS): provision of goods and services as a bundle where the Supplier takes the primary responsibility for the Customer’s print infrastructure and the provision and management of the print and imaging services. This includes a range of commercial and ownership options and is designed to be a flexible service offering which is tailored according to a customer’s needs.
