The DSS is intended to be used at schools across NSW and DOE corporate offices. These signs will be used to display a mix of local news (e.g., an upcoming school swimming carnival) and corporate communications (e.g., harmony day). The lack of an enterprise DSS is a common pain point for schools and DOE corporate communications.
The envisaged future state is that the Digital Signage Solution (DSS) will be available for use at DOE schools, corporate offices and related DOE facilities following an opt-in deployment model.
For the avoidance of doubt there will be no contract awarded following the completion of this RFI. It is DOE’s intent is to invite respondents with identified viable solutions (as confirmed in the RFI process) to participate in a planned future RFT. Respondents are to note that DOE reserves the right to consider alternative technologies, solutions, and vendors regardless of whether they participated in this RFI process.
