Department of Education / Soft Skin Cash in Transit - DoESAS-14-70

The Department of Education requires the delivery of Soft Skin Cash in Transit Services by appropriately qualified and licensed security provider(s) to Sites in the following eleven regions throughout NSW.

(i)Hunter/Central Coast

(ii)Illawarra

(iii)New England

(iv)North Coast

(v)Northern Sydney

(vi)Riverina

(vii)South East

(viii)South Western Sydney

(ix)Sydney

(x)Western NSW

(xi)Western Sydney

Please note, there will be no limit on the number of regions one provider can service.

The Contractor shall provide covert Soft Skin Cash Collection, Cash and Negotiable Instrument Transportation, Banking and related services.

The key objectives by Contracting a service provider to deliver soft skin cash in transit Services to NSW public schools are:

a)Mitigate the risk of harm to occupants that arise from cash handling activities; and

b)The implementation of a flexible and innovative solution that will create a more efficient process and reduce the unnecessary use of the Services in each of the above regions.

NSW Regions: Far North Coast, Mid North Coast, New England, Central Coast, Hunter, Cumberland/Prospect, Nepean, Northern Sydney, Inner West, South East Sydney, South West Sydney, Central West, Orana/Far West, Riverina/Murray, Illawarra, Southern Highlands
