The NSW Department of Education (DoE) is seeking responses to a Request for Tender (RFT) for the provision of products to be purchasable by DoE Schools and Corporate customers via the Department’s electronic/online catalogue system. The Department is seeking products from the below categories:

• Art and Craft Supplies
• Music Supplies
• Learning Aids (including, for example, equipment, toys, classroom accessories to support teaching and learning in schools and special education environments)
• STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics)/Makerspace Equipment

Respondents will be asked to submit a response detailing their capability to supply products from these categories and provide associated delivery and support services; with all products to be made available for purchase on the Department’s electronic catalogues. Respondents will be able to submit a response in one or more of the listed categories.

Respondents in the STEM category may respond to additional non-mandatory requirements for the supply of selected products in bulk quantities to support the STEM Equipment in Schools program.

This RFT will be issued and managed using the Department's sourcing tool DoE Ariba. It is recommended that interested parties commence the Ariba registration process as soon as possible. The dates provided are indicative and the RFT may be issued earlier than the stated dates.

This notification is for the purposes of advertising only and no RFT documents will be issued and/or RFT responses received through the NSW eTendering portal.

1. To register your organisation on DoE Ariba:

• Use the following link and click on “Register Now”: http://dec.supplier.ariba.com
• Please ensure that the below fields are completed in your registration:

           - Business phone number
           - Short description
           - At least one commodity supplied (UNSPC)
           - ABN number, or another Tax ID number if you do not yet have an ABN (please list under “Tax ID”, under Business tab, Tax Information)

• If you are already registered on the DoE Ariba portal, please continue to sign in and update your company details. If you are unable to log in, please contact Ariba support on 1800 766 694.

 

2. Once you receive email notification that your DoE Ariba registration has been approved, please email gstenders@det.nsw.edu.au with the Project ID DoE1217159585 as the subject of the email to notify the Department of your interest in this application.

 

Interested parties must be registered in DoE Ariba as above to participate.
