Tender Details

The purpose of this evaluation project is to evaluate the impact, cost effectiveness and sustainability of the three related initiatives: quality teachers, paraprofessionals and Centres for Excellence.

The National Partnership Agreements on Literacy and Numeracy, Low Socio-economic Status School Communities (Low SES) and Improving Teacher Quality were agreed by the Council of Australian Governments (COAG) on 28 November 2008.

The goal of the Improving Teacher Quality Smarter Schools National Partnership is to raise the quality of the teaching in our schools to improve student outcomes. All school sectors recognise that the quality of teaching is the single greatest in-school influence on student engagement and outcomes.

Through participation in this National Partnership, NSW will deliver system-wide reforms targeting critical points in teachers' careers, from pre-service through to leadership.
