Tender Details

This project will evaluate the immediate and longer term impacts of the NSW Literacy and Numeracy SSNP initiative on student outcomes. It will examine the comparative impact of 1:1 literacy /numeracy interventions and also initiatives which are targeted at whole-class/whole school improvement.

The National Partnership Agreements on Literacy and Numeracy, Low Socio-economic Status School Communities (Low SES) and Improving Teacher Quality were agreed by the Council of Australian Governments (COAG) on 28 November 2008.

The Literacy and Numeracy Smarter Schools National Partnership aims to deliver sustained improvement in literacy and numeracy outcomes for primary school students, both through the provision of targeted interventions for those students who are falling behind and through whole-class, whole-school approaches to literacy/numeracy improvement
