Tender Details

The evaluation will examine the take-up, effectiveness and sustainability of new literacy and numeracy programs and strategies instituted as a part of the SSNP literacy and numeracy initiatives.

The National Partnership Agreements on Literacy and Numeracy, Low Socio-economic Status School Communities (Low SES) and Improving Teacher Quality were agreed by the Council of Australian Governments (COAG) on 28 November 2008.

The Literacy and Numeracy Smarter Schools National Partnership aims to deliver sustained improvement in literacy and numeracy outcomes for primary school students, both through the provision of targeted interventions for those students who are falling behind and through whole-class, whole-school approaches to literacy/numeracy improvement.
