Tender Details

The NSW Department of Education and Training (“the Department”) has a detailed set of school facilities standards which determine the number and dimension of all learning and specialist spaces in its schools, based on the size (enrolment) and the type of school, including primary, high and special schools. In addition to this the Department has a very detailed technical specification which determines, in detail, the standard and type of material and products to be used when undertaking capital and maintenance projects in the Department schools.

Both the spatial and technical specifications are applied when building new, or upgrading/maintaining current school buildings. A review of these standards to ensure that they are current and best practice will be the subject of this Request for Tender (RFT) and form Phase 1 of a two-phase project.
