Safe Haven Cafe model refers to a safe, demedicated & casual cafe or lounge space for people to rapidly access the needed support. The primary aim of the Safe Haven Cafe is to provide peer based, recovery orientated services for people impacted by or expereincing suicidal thoughts or distress, but who do not require intensive clinical support, and offer an alternative option to people who may otherwise attend emergency departments after hours when other supports are closed.
