NSW Health / Mental Health First Aid training for peer-based harm reduction services - HAC: 2311067

The Supplier will deliver Mental Health First Aid (MHFA) training to up to 700 peer-based harm reduction service volunteers within the contract timeframe, from April 2024 to June 2025.

The Supplier will be responsible for delivering the following:

Deliverable 1: A training schedule which includes the required number of training sessions according to demand from up to 700 peer volunteers from four peer-based harm reduction service providers across NSW, delivered over 15 months.

Manage all administrative aspects of delivering the training, including:

• engaging and communicating with peer-based harm reduction services about training schedules and access instructions
• managing online training platforms and resources
• maintaining training attendance records and providing training certificates to peer volunteers and provide training records to the NSW Ministry of Health and peer-based harm reduction services
• issuing training evaluations to peers, collating and reporting evaluation feedback

Deliverable 2: Deliver Mental Health First Aid training to as many participants as possible, according to the training schedule.

Deliverable 3: Quarterly training progress reports to NSW Ministry of Health that include:

• Date and delivery method of each training session completed.
• List of peer volunteer names and associated peer-based harm reduction service training attendance/completion records, per training session and collated per quarter.
• Participants’ training evaluation data, collated per quarter. - Identification and resolution of any barriers or issues with training.
