Tender Details
NSW Ambulance are seeking a sole supplier to deliver an Occupational Violence Prevention Training Program across all operational staff.
Under the NSW Ambulance Wellbeing Investment program, the Protected Paramedic program aims to reduce occupational violence for paramedics.
While NSW Ambulance has some health and safety training already in place, no enterprise-wide occupational violence prevention training program currently exists. Existing programs include training to increase the capacity of paramedics to work with mental health patients, a pilot Paramedic Safety Program rolled out in limited areas only and Field Risk Assessment training rolled out to specialist groups. Internal and external reviews recommended a comprehensive enterprise-wide, in service training program on occupational violence prevention be delivered across NSW Ambulance.
NSW Paramedics are situated across NSW, requiring a well-planned and strategic approach to the delivery of training in collaboration with local managers and the Protected Paramedic Project lead to ensure delivery of training in a manner that does not affect the ongoing delivery of ambulance services.
