The YDAC Program is aimed at reducing offending and drug use amongst a specific group of young people who have become entrenched in criminal behaviour.

The program aims to improve offending rates by addressing these difficulties. The Residential Induction Unit (RIU), located in Liverpool, NSW, is a vital component of the YDAC program. The RIU offers initial intensive support to participants for a period of two to four weeks to stabilise them, introduce them to the program and program activities.

The current contract with the existing Non Government Organisation (NGO) managing the RIU will expire on the 30th September 2007. Justice Health is seeking Expressions of Interest (EOI) from NGOs to manage the RIU from the 1st October 2007 to 30th June 2008 with a view to renewing the contract at that date.
