Tender Details

The Centre for Population Health (CPH), NSW Ministry of Health is seeking to fund a research and evaluation program for HIV, sexually transmissible infections (STIs) and viral hepatitis for five years between 1 January 2025 to 30 December 2029.

The program is funded by NSW Health to undertake policy-relevant research to support NSW Health in reducing bloodborne viruses (BBV) and STIs in NSW, as well as improving the health outcomes of people living with these infections.

This program brings together leading researchers in the field of BBV and STI to support the following strategic goals of NSW Health:

  • prevent new infections through harm reduction, education and health promotion
  • increase access and testing for people at risk of BBV and STI infection
  • treat infections rapidly and effectively, and link newly acquired and existing infections into treatment and care, and
  • reduce stigma and discrimination as a barrier to prevention, testing, and treatment of infections.
