HealthShare NSW Non-Emergency Patient Transport Service (PTS) is provided by an internal fleet and a panel of Private Provders to assist patients travelling by road to or from a health or private facility who cannot use, or have difficulty using, public and/or private transport, and whose acuity does not require the use of a NSW Ambulance emergency vehicle.
The main objective of an effective PTS system is to provide the community with safe, timely and reliable medical transport.
