Particulars of the goods or services to be provided under this contract

The prime objective of this contract is to deliver quality and affordable cleaning services for the growing demand on cleaning requirements within SWSLHD.

The following guiding principles are to be observed:

• The contractor will be responsible for cleaning, sweeping, mopping with disinfectant of all floors, staircases, lobbies, corridors, ceilings, reception, pantries, kitchen, laundry areas, office rooms, training rooms, waiting areas and overall facility as per scope of work.

• The contractor will be responsible if requested for cleaning and mopping of wards and all other rooms including but not limited to Operating Suite, Cath Lab, ICU, Pathology, Medical Imaging, Storerooms in accordance with Australian Guidelines for the Prevention and Control of Infection Healthcare.

• The contractor will be responsible for cleaning and disinfecting all vitreous fixtures including toilet bowls, urinals, sinks, toilet seats, containers etc. of all departments within scope of duties.

• The contractor will be responsible for cleaning, dusting of light fixtures, fans, air conditioner vents, door handles, door mats, equipment, PCs, phones, doors, furniture, windows, glass,. grills, curtains.

• The contractor will be responsible for cleaning of bins and disposing of all collected waste on a daily basis at designated facilities.

• The contractor will re-stock toiletries, which include soap, paper towel, toilet paper, following daily cleaning.

• For external cleaning of facilities, the contractor needs to undertake brooming, sweeping of pathways and entrances.

• Specialised cleaning services with qualified staff supporting work orders for floor, carpet, terrazzo tiles, window and pressure cleaning on demand.
