Particulars of the goods or services to be provided under this contract

WSLHD is required to periodically inspect, test and tag its electrical equipment by a competent person to identify damage, wear and detect electrical faults. Noting that most of the items that are tested are mobile items that can be moved around the facility, not the RCD testing of fixed outlets.

The primary reason behind doing testing and tagging is to ensure compliance with the relevant Australian Standards and the safety of the people in the workplace coming into contact with the electrical equipment.

Does your organisation have Formal Registration and certification (Licencing and ISO Certification)?

Describe your organisation’s risk management principals, methods of procedure, safe work method statement etc. and particularly how they will be utilised to manage the safe completion of this contract in a hospital environment.

Does your company have adequate resources to carry out works over a rolling 12 months program?

Please provide evidence of experience in conducting similar works in a public healthcare setting, company achievements in this field, include management structure etc.

Please provide evidence of estimated resourcing required to complete the annual testing at all sites within the nominated program parameters and must provide evidence of training and certification of staff that will be used on site.

What value adds can the company bring to this SLA over the term of the contract? Any “future technology” currently being developed that may assist WSLHD in better data reporting and management.

Please provide description of the understanding of the scope of this SLA and its challenges, particularly challenges associated with working within a live hospital environment.

Please provide a method of procedure outlining how the company will ensure that all assets will be captured, include methodology regarding attending/following-up locked rooms, missed areas and any after-hours works that may be required.

Please submit a high-level program showing milestones, key dates and durations, dependencies etc.

Please provide details of test equipment to be used, noting that raw test data must be made available upon request.

Please explain your reporting process (All service reports provided must be based on raw data and list each item tested with location and pass/fail results at a minimum.)

Is your organisation able to report all failures separately to the nominated site contact at each facility within 24hrs of testing and how?

Please provide a sample copy of report, (sample report should cover building by building, floor by floor so as to gain an accurate understanding of asset numbers.)
