Expression of Interest for provision of modular building systems for complex health facilities – the EOI aims to establish market capability for the provision of modular building systems (or part there of) for health facilities. Specific reference is made to the sub-acute bed program. The extent of information required is as follows:
- Provision of prefabricated modular buildings or components of buildings suitable for a health environment. These may include bathrooms, bedrooms, utility rooms, building services modules, other similar pods, plant rooms or complete building elements.
- Ability to adapt components to suit minor design changes / formats
- Quality finishes equal or better than standard form of construction
- Suitable for incorporation into various layouts and forms of construction
- Value adding to the construction process
- Suitable for transport to remote / rural areas
- Ability of supplier to liaise and assist with the construction process
- Compliance with relevant Australian Standards
Details of floor systems (if applicable) and its ability to reduce noise, vibration and accept load. Whist it is not a requirement of this EOI, a floor system that provides an amenity close to that of the concrete slab, is desirable
