Tender Details
The prices under the current contract for Needles & Syringes are due for its first anniversary (1 June 2010).
It is noted that suppliers on this Standing Offer arrangement elected to have price variations applications considered at the anniversary of the contract commencement date, and suppliers have nominated the Price Bases on which this would be done which have been incorporated in their contracts.
Health Support Services (HSS), managing this contract for Health Administration Corporation (HAC) on behalf of the State Contracts Control Board (SCCB), invites current suppliers to review their prices and submit them electronically by 29 June 2010, the close date.
This is process which will be conducted annually by HSS for suppliers to reduce/improve or increase prices and thereby achieve a larger proportion of orders from customers under the contract, or address suppliers’ cost increase issues.
The price variation process is being conducted for all suppliers using the electronic submission process simultaneously to aid efficiency and to assist suppliers and end-users of the contract to manage new pricing that might be approved through this process.
Notes:
Variations to value-added arrangements if appropriate, should also be submitted at this time (e.g. lead covers).
All applications received as part of this process, for both increases and decreases, will be assessed and only approved if the Principal determines that they are in keeping with the relevant provisions of the contract.
This process does not affect the clauses in supplier contracts which provide for the variation of prices during the life of the contract.
This price variation process allows for price variations to existing products on contract and it does not allow for addition of off-contract products.
