Tender Details
The NSW Ministry of Health (the Ministry) is seeking to engage a suitably qualified and experienced organisation to conduct an evidence-based evaluation of the Suicide Prevention Fund.
The primary purpose of the evaluation is to conduct an evidence-based assessment of the outcomes arising from the services delivered through the Fund. The evaluation will focus on assessing the effectiveness of the services in achieving their intended objectives; examine the individual, service and system-level outcomes arising from the services; and provide recommendations to inform future policy directions of the Fund.
The evaluation is expected to commence in February 2019 and be completed by February 2021. The evaluation will adopt a mixed-methods approach incorporating both quantitative and qualitative components, as well as extensive engagement with multiple stakeholders.
The successful proponent will report to, and convene regularly with, an Evaluation Working Group comprising representatives from the Ministry of Health. The deliverables required for the evaluation project include an Evaluation Plan and Implementation Plan, an Interim Report and a Final Evaluation Report.
