Tender Details
The objective of this Expression of Interest is to identify potential NGO providers who meet a basic set of criteria and wish to progress on to respond to a detailed Request for Information (RFI) as the first stage of a multi-step procurement process for the delivery of the NSW Drug and Alcohol Treatment Services for 2011/12 and beyond.
In 2011, the Government made a commitment to provide an additional $10M over four years ($2.5M per annum) to the Non-Government Organisation (NGO) sector for the enhancement of drug and alcohol rehabilitation services and programs. The purpose of this is to reduce the number of people with drug and/or alcohol dependencies. A multi-step collaborative procurement process has been developed to best identify and supply the Drug and Alcohol Treatment Services needs with the NGO market capacity to deliver. This first stage of the procurement process is this Expression of Interest to identify potential providers who wish to be evaluated to progress on to a detailed Request for Information that will assess their ability to meet the Drug and Alcohol Treatment Services Program needs. Successful RFI respondents will finally respond to a succinct Request for Proposal that clearly identifies the final Program specifications, funding and reporting requirements. The EOI will close on 6 March 2012, with subsequent RFI stage scheduled for mid-March 2012 and RFP stage for April 2012.
