NSW Health / Alcohol and Other Drugs Youth Treatment Services - HAC 17/388

 

This request for tender (RFT) is for the expansion and enhancement of alcohol and other drug treatment services for young people in NSW. NSW Health will commission the delivery of specific drug and alcohol treatment services for young people aged 10-19 years old. These services include:

 

• withdrawal management (detox);

• residential rehabilitation; and

• psychosocial counselling and support

 

The intended outcomes for expansion and enhancement of alcohol and other drug treatment services for young people include:

 

• increased numbers of young people able to access alcohol and other drug treatment;

• improved health and social functioning of young people accessing alcohol and other drug treatment;

• greater collaboration and partnerships in the delivery of alcohol and other drug treatment service delivery for young people;

• identification and testing of new approaches in the delivery of alcohol and other drug treatment service delivery for young people.
