Tender Details
This project involves undertaking a comprehensive health technology assessment of pelvic extenteration surgery (extended radical pelvic resection) for Australians with locally advanced recurrent rectal cancer, in order to determine whether this procedure meets the criteria for NFC status. |
The NFC Program supports the introduction of high cost, highly specialised clinical practices and technologies, with limited demand, to ensure equitable access to these practices and technologies for all Australians. The objective of the project is the provision of a health technology assessment report to the NFC Reference Group, which includes a recommendation on the suitability or unsuitability of this procedure for NFC status. |
