Tender Details

Scope of works:
Provide electrical systems as documented.
1. Manufacture, assembly, site delivery, permanent positioning, installation and
commissioning of an 1100kVA standby diesel generating set.
2. Manufacture, assembly, supply, installation and permanent positioning of a 5000 litre
diesel tank with fuel control panel, fill point and associated fuel pipes.
3. Connection of fuel lines, vent lines and overfill/overflow lines all in accordance with
AS1940.
4. Extension of Engine Exhaust and Ventilation exhaust system through the roofing system.
Including all weatherproofing requirements.
5. Acoustic and Ventilation requirements advice to the Head Contractor for inclusion in the
Generator enclosure design.
6. On load synchronising systems using a Woodman Make Before Break Transfer control
system.
7. Controls system including Off / Manual Run / Test – On load / Automatic.
8. Assisting the head contractor in testing, commissioning and hand8over on site;
9. Attendance at site meetings;
10. Liaising with the head contractor on all technical and installation matters;
11. 52 weeks maintenance;
12. 52 weeks defects liability;
13. Optional price for a 750kVA Prime rated Diesel Generator set.
Note: The Contractor shall forward any ambiguities in the document at the time of tender for the
works specified. Claims for extra costs based on the lack of knowledge of the documents or services
will not be accepted after submission of the tender.
