Roads and Maritime Services is planning for a new four lane bridge over the Shoalhaven River, upgraded intersections and additional lanes on the Princes Highway. The project would improve traffic flow and ease congestion on a major section of the Princes Highway and deliver faster and more reliable journeys within the Nowra-Bomaderry area. This contract involves the detailed design and construction of these works.
All tenderers must comply with the New South Wales Government's Code of Practice for Procurement (NSW Code) and the New South Wales Government's Implementation Guidelines to the New South Wales Code of Practice for Procurement: Building and Construction Industry (NSW Guidelines) and be accredited under the Australian Government WHS Accreditation Scheme ..
The project is funded by the NSW and Australian Governments.
This is a Quality Assurance contract.
This is a two stage project, a shortlist of applicants will be selected and invited to submit tenders for the design and construction of the project.
Applications for registration of interest are invited from contractors who are on Road and Maritime Services F150 (Financial), B4 (Bridgeworks) and R4 (Roadworks) Register of Prequalified Contractors to undertake the design and construction of the Nowra Bridge project.
An ROI briefing will be held at 10am on 18 October 2018 at the Christie Centre, 100 Walker Street North Sydney. Attendance at the briefing is encouraged but not mandatory.
Applicants will be permitted a maximum of three attendees at the ROI briefing. Attendees are required to pre-register by e-mail to the Contact Officer by 10am on 16 October 2018, providing the names of all attendees.
For Applicants who are unable to physically attend the briefing, RMS will endeavour to arrange an audio visual or real time connection. RMS will provide a transcript of the briefing to all Applicants as an ROI Information Document.
