This Project is funded by the NSW government.
Applications for Registration of Interest are invited from contractors who are prequalified with Roads and Maritime Services under the National Prequalification System for Civil Construction Contracts at Road Category R5 and Financial Level F100 or higher to undertake the construction of the Princes Highway upgrade between Berry and Bomaderry. Bridgeworks must be carried out by a contractor prequalified at Bridge Category B4.
The project involves the upgrading of the A1 Princes Highway between Mullers Lane, Berry and Cambewarra Road, Bomaderry. The upgraded highway will have a minimum of two lanes in each direction separated by a median. The project involves the construction of 14 bridge sized structures, including two overpasses with weathering steel superstructures.
A shortlist of applicants will be selected and invited to submit tenders for the construction of the project.
Applicants must comply with the New South Wales Government's Code of Practice for Procurement (NSW Code) and the New South Wales Government's Implementation Guidelines to the New South Wales Code of Practice for Procurement: Building and Construction Industry (NSW Guidelines).
