This is a joint Federal and State funded project.
Applicants must comply with the Building Code and the Supporting Guidelines at the time of lodgement of the EOI.
The Project involves duplicating and/or rebuilding 155 kilometres of the Pacific Highway to a four lane dual carriageway motorway, providing two lanes in each direction that can be upgraded to three lanes if required in the future.
EOI submissions are invited from applicants that can demonstrate capability to undertake the role of Delivery Partner for the Project. The role of the Delivery Partner is to administer and manage the delivery of the project on behalf of RMS and to provide the specific skills and resources to do this. The delivery partner approach contemplates the competitive engagement of specific capability based contractors, subcontractors and suppliers to do the actual work.
The procurement and delivery of the Project will be facilitated and managed by Road and Maritime Services (RMS) as the client agency on behalf of the State of NSW.
The successful applicant is to provide services under a Delivery Partner Deed and will be selected through a three stage procurement process. The first phase requires applicants to submit an EOI. The EOI submission will be evaluated against specific criteria in order to shortlist applicants for participation in the second phase. The second phase will be governed by a separate Invitation to Participate issued to shortlisted applicants and a competitive dialogue process. The third phase will involve submission of Tenders which is expected to culminate in the selection by RMS of a preferred Tenderer to proceed to execution of the Delivery Partner Deed.
