Transport for NSW (Transport Infrastructure Projects) / Request for Proposal for Vacant Land Maintenance-Southern Region--Roads and Maritime Services - RMS - WS1149840554

Roads and Maritime Services currently hold 51 parcels of land in the southern region of New South Wales which have been designated for future infrastructure or organisational requirements. The land holdings are located in the Local Government Areas of Wollongong, Shellharbour, Kiama, Shoalhaven, Eurobodalla and Bega Valley.

The purpose of this Procurement Activity is to source a Proponent who will deliver grounds and vacant land Services to these Properties for a period of two years with options for a further two year extension. The Services include, but are not limited to the following:

• Mowing and slashing,
• Landscaping,
• Land rehabilitation tasks,
• Vegetation management, including chemical treatments and fertiliser,
• Waterway management,
• Arborist services,
• Removal of green waste,
• Removal of hard waste,
• Fire break management,
• Fencing maintenance and construction,

and

• Consultancy tasks.

Request for Proposals - An invitation for expressions of interest / seeking preliminary proposals. In many cases these may be used as a basis for shortlisting tenderers, along with other criteria such as expertise and experience. Prospective tenderers are initially evaluated for their proposal against the relevant selection criteria. A number of those who best meet the criteria are invited to tender. For complex or some other types of procurement, where the product or service outcomes are highly dependent on the content of the proposals received from Tenderers, the outcome may be negotiated.

The RFP process will be managed using the TfNSW Ariba Sourcing Portal and not E-Tender, as previously used by RMS.

1. Submit the attached Confidentiality Deed

2. Submit the attached TfNSW Ariba Vendor Registration Form to tenders@transport.nsw.gov.au  Once the above is completed you will be provided with the RFP documents and instructions on how to access the TfNSW Ariba Sourcing Portal.
