This is a State funded project.
Tenders are invited from pre-qualified contractors at Bridgeworks Class B1 and Roadworks Class R10. In addition, the contractor or any Sub-Contractor will require prequalification B1 for bridge works (piling works) and CC for concrete (precast pile caps). The earthworks, drainage and traffic control components of the work must be carried out by contractors registered with the RTA in Class E, D and G respectively or pre-qualified for roadworks and bridgeworks as applicable. The Primary Testing of the works (including sampling) must be carried out by contractors registered with the RTA in Class L2. This work involves construction of Early Works for the HW23 Newcastle City Bypass Shortland to Sandgate including earthworks, drainage, pavement, piling and other miscellaneous works. All Tenderers must comply with the NSW Government Code of Practice for Procurement.
