Cranes and Lifting Equipment Inspection & Maintenance

Sydney Water operates and maintains plants and facilities throughout the Sydney Metropolitan, Blue Mountains and Illawarra regions.

At these sites Sydney water operates the following types of lifting equipment

• overhead travel gantry cranes

•            about 300

• monorail beam cranes

  • about 1,000

• post jib cranes

  •  about 200

• davits and winches

  • about 1,000

• mobile jib hoists

  • about 1,000

• lifting frames and beams, chain blocks, ropes and slings, lifting anchorages

  • about 5,000

• fall restraint anchorages and lanyard attachment lines

  • about 3,000

Sydney Water may be tendering for maintenance and repair of the above in November 2018 for up to 5 years.

To participate in the Tender you need to register in Sydney Water Ariba System, detailed in the attached guide.
