Tender Details
This tender is for the removal and disposal of Trees from at five specific locations by the side of the Main Northern Rail Line.
The work sites are located on four (4) cuttings by the side of the rail track within the rail corridor in the Wondabyne area and the fifth location is the 832 66Kv feeder which originates at pole No 5 on top of Mullet Creek to Pole No 10 near the down Main line.
Due to the steepness of the cuttings and difficult access to the sites, it is necessary to use aviation (Helicopter) support to hold, lift and remove some of the trees from the cuttings to the mulching areas.
RailCorp will conduct a MANDATORY site briefing for prospective tenderers as follows:
Time: 0930 on Thursday 28/1/2010
Meeting Place: Hawkesbury River Railway Station Car Park Brooklyn Road Brooklyn Opposite the Anglers Rest Hotel.
Tenderers are requested to confirm their attendance at the site briefing session by sending an email, not later than 5 working days prior to the time specified above, quoting the Tender Reference Number, Tender Title and Names of those attending to procurement@railcorp.nsw.gov.au.
